One of our authors, artist Andy Smith, is currently involved in New Mills festival, why not visit to see his work?
Andy Smith, worked in community art for 25 years before completing a BA and MA in Fine Art at Bolton University in 2014/15. Andy continues to work in both genres and aim to enable a greater awareness of their common potential. Andy's work explores the space between words and meaning, between curiosity and belief and use the language of art to both challenge and encourage audience and artist alike to co-create a vision of a diverse, inclusive and peaceful world that engages us through the processes of living, creating and sharing.

The work of one of our long standing authors, Lynda Morgan, was picked up by a professor at York University who asked her could he use one of her poems in a prestigious anthology that was to be launched in May 2022. As part of the ongoing interest in the anthology, Lynda's work was featured a number of times on Radio York.
She was also asked to attend the launch event which was held in York's magnificent Guild hall on Friday the 20th May, and featured Lynda along with such luminaries as: Mike Harding, Ralph McTell and Ian McMillan,
Following the success of her reading at this event, Radio York have invited her back to attend a dinner and be interviewed for a radio programme. Lynda is hoping this will lead to higher visibility for her work and we are considering a further print run for her book
